About the book
Near a small badminton shop and a busy school crossing, a quiet man begins doing the work that falls between official roles. He watches traffic, helps children cross, repairs what is left unattended, and becomes familiar without becoming recognised.
The shopkeeper, Officer Asha, and the neighbourhood each understand his presence differently. When an impact forces the crossing into the language of reports and liability, the question is no longer simply what happened. It is whether unpaid attention counts as work, witness, or nothing at all.
Intersection is a moving novel about usefulness, civic neglect, and the human cost of relying on those a system has never formally seen.
