About the book

Reviewing a hit-and-run at an unremarkable intersection, a traffic analyst finds that the available data is unusually complete: camera angles, vehicle paths, timestamps, and files whose access history does not match their contents.

The names Anderson and Christella enter the inquiry, then begin to disappear from it. Surveillance promises certainty, but each sharpened image exposes a larger absence. The more useful the case becomes to people beyond the investigation, the less safely it can remain a story about one injured body.

Invisibled is a taut literary thriller about secret authority, digital evidence, and the administrative techniques by which a person can be removed without ever being declared missing.
