Release status

The first iOS release is awaiting App Store review. The game is not yet available, and no release date is confirmed.

Status checked on . Details below describe the planned release and may change before publication.

About the game

Five remote incidents can still hear you. Ordinary command channels are gone, leaving your replies as the only ones getting through. Follow interrupted messages, mission logs, and records that have begun to answer back.

Question accounts that do not quite agree, separate confirmed facts from plausible interpretations, and choose what to preserve. Earlier judgments carry into later records and multiple endings.

Meet the people behind the messages

What you will do

  • Investigate five connected incidents through chats and mission logs.
  • Compare witness accounts with system evidence.
  • Reorder evidence and preserve dangerous gaps.
  • Use content warnings, adjustable text size, high contrast, and reduced disturbance options.

Planned access

The submitted release offers Part 1 in full for free. A single non-consumable purchase unlocks Parts 2-5, concluding records, and the full ending path. No subscription, ads, or account creation is required.

Final availability, compatibility, and purchase details will be confirmed when the game is released.

Content note: psychological horror, isolation, death references, distorted communication, institutional pressure, and implied bodily harm.

People behind the messages

A voice reaches you from somewhere else

Meet four of the correspondents at the opening of their incidents. Each reports from a place you cannot visit, trying to separate what can be observed from what can only be inferred.

These are site-only imagined portraits. Vox Residua is a text-led chat game; the illustrations do not establish canonical appearances or reveal later identities.

Imagined portrait of Kima Otieno, a correspondent in Vox Residua

Delphinus deep-relay operator

Kima Otieno

Regular support has fallen silent. Kima reports from the deep relay, asking you to help check the vehicle's readings and the mission's next step. Practical questions arrive before there is time for a complete explanation.

Imagined portrait of Ilya, a correspondent in Vox Residua

Subsea operations lead

Ilya

Ilya permits an outside view of an incident at another undersea facility. Formal and measured, the operations lead keeps attention on accounts and records that need to be compared before a judgment is made.

Imagined portrait of Arin Kambara, a correspondent in Vox Residua

Field observer in Khaima

Arin Kambara

Arin is crossing deep jungle toward an abandoned survey camp after regular communications fail. Reports of the route, the surroundings, and the next observable action are your only access to the field.

Imagined portrait of Kallis, a correspondent in Vox Residua

Shipboard observer

Kallis

Aboard SEV-Aletheia in the distant Krysera system, Kallis follows a surface team on Lithria. A careful observer's report connects the ship, the ground, and your remote perspective.

Character artwork from this site's original illustrated interpretations of Vox Residua. Introductions stay with each incident's starting situation; altered voices, hidden connections, and ending conditions remain undisclosed.
